"Kawarty" is a Nubian word for a small bird that is known for its quick flight. The managing director, Mounir Mahmoud, and most of our employees are Nubian. Mounir was nicknamed Kawarty when he played soccer - hence the name of our business!

Kawarty Red Sea is managed on a day to day basis by Mounir Mahmoud. Sam Bartlett is the chairman and works with Mounir on finance and marketing. They are assisted and advised by the Kawarty Consultant, Hisham Abdulmoneim. To contact Mounir, Hisham or Sam, see the contacts page. Kawarty also has an associated company based in Dubai, led by Harmann Walia. Mounir and Sam are ably assisted by two managers, Ibrahim (above) and Hisham (below). Ibrahim is an expert on air conditioning and also helps us with many other aspects of the business. Hisham helps to manage our logistics, government relations and administration matters. They are both Nubians!
