Kawarty III for Sale

Kawarty III is a 30 meter motor yacht under construction.  It was originally intended as a liveaboard for scuba diving but it is at a stage where the internal arrangements could easily changed, if necessary, and the boat finished as a private yacht to the specifications of the buyer.

We originally built the boat, from quality timber, for our own use and we wanted to make sure that it would have a long, safe life with minimum maintenance.  It is one of the best constructed yachts ever built in the shipyards of Suez.  For example, all wooden surfaces, inside and out, are coated with epoxy.  In fact much of the hull is built to classification standards.

The structure of the boat is substantially complete, including wiring and plumbing and some of the stainless steel water, fuel and waste tanks.  However it is awaiting the ordering and installation of such equipment as engines, generators, air conditioning, desalination equipment, etc., and completion of the painting and fitting out.

Subject to lead time in ordering equipment and the extent of internal alterations we would need to make at the request of the buyer, we estimate that it would take approximately four to five months to finish and launch the boat.  We could deliver the boat in Egypt or arrange for it to be exported, finished or unfinished.

Kawarty III, although under construction, has a right to a license to operate commercially on the Red Sea.  The license can be activated when the yacht is launched.  This is very important for a new yacht because, currently, no more licenses are being issued.

Regarding the price, we want to sell the yacht as quickly as possible and we are willing to consider any reasonable offer.  We would need to negotiate a separate deal for the completion of the boat.  The cost of completion would of course depend on the specifications of the equipment, especially the engines and generators.

We would be happy to cooperate with any independent inspection.

Kawarty III is located at Suez, Egypt
